Appointment of Samuel Chou 2007-05-23 China -- Samuel Chou has been appointed the role of Chief Operating Officer for Luen Thai Fishing Venture, Ltd. (LTFV). He has been with the company since 1980 and has held various operational and strategic management roles for three companies under Luen Thai Private Group.
With this new appointment, Samuel is now tasked to cascade the vision, strategic plans and directions set for LTFV and ensure that the operations structure, daily activities, systems and processes are being mobilized towards the company’s vision.
This new role puts Samuel Chou in charge of supply management for fuel and raw materials, fishing base management in the Republic of Palau; Majuro; and Kiribati, fleet management for vessels deployed for the Micronesian region and the Philippines, shipyard management for Kosrae and China facilities, processing for Philippines and Western Pacific Region, air cargo operations and sales and marketing in the United States, Japan, China and the whole Asia and European region.
As COO, Samuel Chou will be guiding the LTFV management team's efforts to provide efficient and more value-added products and services to our customers.
