Luen Thai Group of Companies and staff donated HK$ 1 million for Sichuan Earthquake 2008-06-17 China -- On June 17, 2008, the Luen Thai Group of Companies and staff made a donation of HK$1,000,000 for the relief of the Sichuan earthquake. The cheque donation was presented by Dr. Tan Siu Lin, Chairman of the Group, and Mr. Benny Chan, on behalf of the Group, to Mr. Li Gui Kang, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government.
