SKECHERS China Market Week: Shanghai Roadshow 2009-03-21 On March 20, SKECHERS held a road-show at the Super Brands mall in Shanghai to officially start market week and launch the new 2009 spring line. The event featured a fashion show, street dance and musical performances. Many media people and consumers attended the event, drawn, no doubt, by all the bright lights, great music, and of course, latest fashions in footwear.
In addition the road show event SKECHERS USA President Michael Greenberg and SKECHERS China CEO Willie Tan along with Marvin Bernstein SKECHERS Managing Partner of SARL and Danny Lam SKECHERS China President hosted a press conference which was held to showcase the Spring 09 collection to major media channels. Speeches were given by Michael Greenberg and Willie Tan expressing their confidence in SKECHERS brand development in China.
