Tan Holdings and LTFV Attend Inauguration of FSM President

Palikir- Luen Thai Enterprises and Tan Holdings chief executive Willie Tan attended the recent joint inauguration of Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) President Emanuel Mori and Vice President Alik Alik.   Mr. Tan also represented one of Tan Holdings' companies Luen Thai Fishing Venture (LTFV), which operates long-line fishing fleet and bases in the Western Pacific.  Seafood processing is one of FSM's major industries next to tourism and agriculture.   George Chiu, Executive Vice President of Tan Holdings and LTFV's President was also on hand to represent the businesses of Tan Holdings in the Western Pacific.

The inauguration day coincided with the 15th Micronesia Chief Executives' Summit (MCES).  The MCES is composed of the Chief Executives from the Territory of Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and its four state Governors (Chuuk, Yap, Pohnpei, and Kosrae).
